The December Project started out as a way to discipline myself into making a large quantity of small stylistically similar pieces of art quickly.   The pieces were matted, wrapped with wrapping paper, and given to strangers as gifts.   I walked the Sante Fe Art District in Denver in single digit temperatures to give these gifts in late December 2013.   Most people were very moved and one gentleman gave me a hug.  This was a very moving experience for me, which made me want to continue the project.
